ECONET 1.0

ECONET by Fläkt Woods is a design and selection software for planning hydronic energy recovery in air handling applications. Built around Fläkt Woods’ ECONET closed-loop (run-around) coil concept, it helps HVAC professionals size components, model thermal performance, and estimate energy savings for supply and exhaust airstreams.

The software provides performance calculations for coil loops, including temperature efficiency, pressure drops, and pump head. It supports component selection for coils, pumps, valves, and controls, and lets users compare scenarios across fluids, flow rates, and design temperatures to optimize system performance. ECONET also generates clear, project-ready documentation—such as schedules, performance data, and submittal reports—to streamline coordination with consultants and contractors.

By improving accuracy and accelerating the selection process, ECONET enables better-informed design decisions and helps optimize the life-cycle energy performance of air handling units using Fläkt Woods equipment.
